With Tag Templates you can create your own Liveblog Templates where you can tag specific messages of your liveblog. These tags are visible to your readers. Furthermore, they can filter the liveblog messages using the tags you've created. Tag Templates must be created before you create a new liveblog with tags.

You must create the Tag Templates in order to create a liveblog with Tags.
Tags
Tags can be used to categorize individual liveblog messages. For example, readers can filter the output of the liveblog by selecting specific tags
Note!
You must create Tags (and the Tag Template) before starting a new liveblog if your liveblog should include tags. Tags can only be used if a Tag Template has been created.
You can add and remove Tags at any time after the Tag Template has been created.
You can create as many Custom Templates as you want.
