SEO Features

**Prefetch**

Typically, when integrating a live blog into a website, the data, such as the content of the live blog posts, is incorporated into the embedding via JavaScript. However, for Google, the page may appear empty, which can negatively affect the ranking.

With **HTML Prefetch**, however, live blogs can be indexed by search engines. Previously, this HTML Prefetch page was not styled and was only visible to search engines, not to readers.

We now provide you with an API to prefetch content from Tickaroo as pure HTML from our servers. Your CMS can then embed the prefetched content into the HTML. You just need to integrate our script to enable user experience features such as pagination, view tracking, auto-refresh, etc.

Would you like to integrate Prefetch HTML? You can find everything you need to know in our developer documentation. Alternatively, feel free to send us an email at support@tickaroo.com and reach out to our team directly.

**AMP Prefetch**

**Accelerated Mobile Pages Prefetch** allows AMP-prefetch-enabled Tickaroo live blogs to stand out even more.

Here are a few key facts about AMP Prefetch:

- The AMP lightning bolt symbol guarantees fast mobile loading times. Users can quickly identify which search result will load the fastest.

- If a page is AMP-prefetch-enabled, it is stored in the Google AMP cache, significantly speeding up its load time. This eliminates the need for prerendering.

- AMP Prefetch improves the loading speed of the live blog, which is a crucial ranking factor.

Having AMP Prefetch-enabled pages also gives the additional advantage of your content being displayed in the Google Search Carousel. This expands your reach and, therefore, your traffic. Although AMP Prefetch is quite technical, it’s no more difficult to implement than regular prefetching and is just as, if not more, useful!

**Styled Prefetch**

With **Styled Prefetch**, preloaded content can be prepared with our Embed JS CSS styling. We provide the general styling of the Embed JS, which can then be applied to the Prefetch page. The advantage of this styling is that the preloaded content can also be displayed to live blog readers, no longer hidden from them. This further improves your Google ranking since it becomes readable by both users and search engines. Another benefit is that the styled prefetch live blog will be displayed even when readers have a poor internet connection, and their device cannot properly load the Embed JS version of the live blog.

**Schema.org**

Schema.org is a search-engine-friendly, readable version of your live blog. It also includes metadata that is stored to make your content more accessible to search engines. This works by providing the metadata through API prefetching. Since our last update, social media content is also included. For example, if a tweet is embedded in the live blog, it will be provided with metadata, essentially reflecting the content in a format readable by search engines.

Schema.org is available as an additional setting for our Embed JS but is not part of the standard live blog package. If you're interested, please contact support@tickaroo.com.
